Biography

Linetta was born in Illinois about 1854, the daughter of Milton Minard and Hannah Smith.^[1][2]

As a young child, Linetta and her family lived in Victoria, Illinois.^[2]

The family moved to Osage, Kansas in the late 1860s.^[3]

Linetta married George Alonzo Freeman in Crawford, Kansas on 25 Sep 1872^[4] and they had 3 children together: Alice^[5], George, and Etta.^[6]

Linetta divorced George.

Linetta married James W Wherrett in 1889^[7] and had one child together: Bessie^[8][9]

She passed away in Parsons, Kansas on 4 Jun 1944^[1] and was buried in East Hills Cemetery.
