Biography

Killian Minkler was born in 1673 in Grossen Engels, Hessen, Holy Roman Empire (now Germany). He married Anna Dorothea Koch and they had at least one child: Johannes 'John Hannes' Minkler.

As part of the early migration of Palatine Germans from the Holy Roman Empire (now Germany) to the British American colonies, Killian Minkler (1673-1748) brought his young family to New York, British Colonial America in 1710^[1][2][3].
