Winney Minge is a part of US Black heritage.
Winney was born around 1800. She lived in Charles City Co, VA on the Sturgeon Point Plantation. She was a slave of John Minge and was listed on the probate inventory after John's death in 1827. Winney was listed as having 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, unnamed.[1]
