Mary was born in Munster, Limerick, Ireland to John and Esther Ubrum Minor in 1700. she sailed from Cork, Ireland to Pennsylvania with the Benjamin Ford Family and was living with her Aunt Mary (Ubrum) Thompson at the time of her marriage. She married Thomas Stubbs Sept 8, 1720 at the Kennet Friends Meeting House in Chester Co., Pa. They had nine children. Mary died in 1745 at the age of 45.
