Biography

Lee was born Oct. 27, 1923, in Marion County. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Louisville, and a retired employee of General Electric. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Henderson, Jr., and Mary Elizabeth Willard Minor; one brother, Bill Minor; and one grandson, Joseph Mark Lee. Survivors include: two sons, Robert Michael of Raywick and Paul Abell Lee of Hodgenville; five daughters, Anna Christine Nally of Bardstown, Wanda Sue Wise of Finley, and Mary Irene O’Daniel, Sherry Ann Abell and Rita Lee McDonald, all of Louisville; four sisters, Mary Myrtle Craven of Hyden, Mary Elizabeth Clan of Trenton and Mary Kathleen Followay and Virginia Mae Minor of Louisville; two brothers, Robert Spencer and George Washington Minor of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
