Biography

Jonathan Blevins III b. Oct. 9, 1808 in Wayne Co., Ky., was also known as Jonathan Jr. and “Juber.” Jonathan m. (1) Ann Minton she died in 1843 (2) Lucinda Roberts and (3) Eadley Sneed. Sometime after 1874 Jonathan Jr., and his wife and some of the children moved from Rock Creek in Wayne Co. Ky to Pulaski Co., Ky. Jonathan d. Aug. 22, 1887 in Pulaski Co. and is buried in Freedom Cemetery on Highway 1247 north of Somerset Ky. [1]

Ann's grave may possibly be in the Blevins Cemetery in Hill Top, McCreary County, Kentucky, with markings of A.B. Blevins and date of death as May 7, 1843.[2]
