Marie Anne Mire, daughter of Simon Mire (or Lemire) and Madeleine Cormier, early Acadian emigrants to Louisiana, was born about 1767 in St. James, Louisiana, called Cabanocey.

She died 8 Feb 1811 in Cote Gelee, St. Martin, LA; and was buried the next day at St. Martinville, St. Martin, LA;. A succession was held on December 1811 in St. Martinville.^[1]

Patin, FTDNA kit #N28763, and his maternal line cousin UNK (a direct descendant of Marie Celise Hebert), FTDNA kit #B318712, have an exact HVR1 and HVR2 match, thereby confirming their direct maternal lines back to their most-recent common ancestor who is Michelle Aucoin, the 10th great grandmother of Thomas C.
