info on the above link shows this Nimrod is the son of Benjamin and Keziah Hunter. Apparently a different George Mitchell than Bob Nichol's.

George Mitchell was a prominent Revolutionary War-era citizen of Onslow County, NC, who was well-documented in vital records and the press of his day. He had no brother. This Nimrod Mitchell was not a brother of George, and if Nimrod's mother was named Keziah Hunter, she was certainly not the same person as George's mother.
