Biography
Catherine Mitchel, daughter of Peter Mitchel and Barbara Cown was born 7 Jan 1779 and was baptised 10 Jan 1779 in Middle or New Parish, Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland. [1]
Catherine Mitchell and James Coats were married on 14 Nov 1802 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. [2]
In 1812, they lived in Eaglesham, Renfrewshire, Scotland. [3]
In 1841, James and Catherine lived at Back Row Ferguslie No 8 in the parish of Paisley Low. Their son Andrew lived with them. [4]
Catherine died 11 Feb 1857 (aged 78) in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland and was buried in Woodside Cemetery and Crematorium, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. [5]
