The grave belongs to the remains of a priest, James Clayton Mitchell (1866-1918), and his wife, Mary Barton Picton Garnett (1863-1949). The Barton-Picton-Garnett families lived on the Elmwood plantation in Virginia and were Southern sympathizers in the Ante-bellum South. Mitchell was living in eastern Pennsylvania when he passed away and they are both buried in Princeton Cemetery (of Nassau Presbyterian Church).[1]
