Biography

Daisy Mitchell was born the daughter of George Washington Mitchell (he was born in Crawfordsville Indiana ) and Eliza E. Chandler (she was born in Jasper township near Walnut Shade, Taney County, Missouri). Daisy was the middle of six children. 1900 United States Federal Census : ^[1] She married Laurence Andrew Hartzell 6 June 1920 after writing letters back and forth for eleven years ! They had two daughters together. She was sweet and mild mannered and loved old family pictures, stories and genealogy. She passed on 2 Sept 1979. ^[2]
