Biography

Pearl Kathleen Mitchell was born on 12 July 1907 in Wellington, Western Australia,^[1][2] the daughter of Lily Amelia (Moore) Mitchell and Valentine Camfield Mitchell.^[2][3]

In June 1923, she was bridesmaid for her sister Gladys, who married Cecil Percy Port.^[4]

She married Gerald Geoffrey Sounness on 29 January 1936 at All Saints Church, Donnybrook, Western Australia.^[3] Their children were:

• Peta Dale Sounness (1937–2004)^[5]
• Geoffrey Valentine Sounness (1939–?)^[6]

Pearl died on 27 June 1990 at Rocky Gully, Western Australia.^[2]
