Margaret Mitchell was born in 1738. She married Robert Milford in 1750. They had four children during their marriage. She died sometime before 1784 in South Carolina.
From Dan Wood: Notes for MARGARET MITCHELL:
Margaret Mitchell Milford was both deaf and dumb, many of her descendants also was afflicted with this malady.
Tradition says that Margaret was an unusually beautiful woman and of splendid Christian character, she died soon after the family landed at Charlestowne {later Charleston} South Carolina
