Katharine Mitchell was the daughter of Capt. Samuel Mitchell and Elizabeth (maiden name unknown).

Catherine Mitchell married John Hill on 26 November 1761 and they had at least two children. The family lived in Barrington, Stafford County, New Hampshire.

Catherine (Mitchell) Hill passed away about 1827 in New Hampshire, USA. [1]

JOHN HILL (#5) (Henry #3, William, William), b. 19 Feb 1737, d. 9 Oct 1804, m. 26 Nov 1761 Catherine, dau. of Capt. Samuel & Elizabeth (___) MITCHELL, b. 9 Oct 1738, bp 16 Aug 1743, d. 21 Jul 1827. The Mitchell’s were from Kittery, ME. [2]

There is no listing for Katherine as a daughter of Samuel MItchell in the KIttery vital records with her suspected siblings. [3]. No baptism was found for Katherine in the Parish Records of The First Church and Society of Kittery, Maine around 1643. There was a baptism in 1771 for an infant daughter Katherine, daughter of Samuel Mitchell.[4]
