Caleb Mix

"The Names of the Proprietors of New Haven, CT., in the Year 1685." NEHGR 1:158 Thomas Mix, John Mix, Nathanael Mix, Daniell Mix, Caleb Mix.

Birth

Caleb was baptized Dec 15, 1661, at the New Haven First Church[1], but a record of his birth is not in the printed records.[2]

Marriage

Caleb married twice first to Hannah Chidsey about 1685. "Hannah ye wife of Caleb Mix Died 11 of December 1693" (p79)[2]
He married second Mary Bradley about 1695.[3]

Death

He died 12 AUG 1708 in New Haven.[3] He was buried at the town green, the stone supposedly was moved to Grove Street Cemetery, but seems to be missing now.

The first three are by Hannah Chidsey and the last four by Mary Bradley.
