Arthur C. Mix,, a native of Binghamton, who has been a television
personality in the Albany area in recent years, died Saturday night during an intermission at a dacce for which he was playing in Schenectady. Mr. Mix, whose home was in Ballston Lake, was 47. He was a vibraharplst who played with an orchestra at a Schenectady television station. For several seasons, he directed his own band at the Hotel Floridian in Miami, Fla. [Tampa] Mr. Mix was playing with an orchestra at a dedication ball of a Knights of Columbus Hall when he complained of feeling ill. He collapsed during the intermission. Funeral services will be held Wednesday and burial will be at Shohola, Pa.
