Anna Mix, daughter of Philo, was born 7 May 1806, in Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut.[1][2][3] Philo's wife was the former Anna Hall.[2] They were married in 1797.[2]
She married Lorman/Larmon Johnson, of Oxford, Connecticut, on 13 Mar 1826 in Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut.[2][4][5] Oxford is just south west of Waterbury.
Anna Johnson received a share of her father's estate in 1842.[6]
The couple didn't remain in Waterbury. Anna moved to Oxford, where Lyman farmed the land and she kept house and raised their children. Eventually they moved to Waterbury and the male household members worked as day laborers.
Ann was 74 in 1880 and her husband was 78. A 1900 census record has not been found, but isn't expected to be since they would have been in their 90s. A death record or a gravestone has not been located.
Larmon Johnson, 78, head, farmer, all were b. in Connecticut as were their parents.
Ann Johnson, 74, wife, b. Connecticut
