DNA Tested
Joel Mize's DNA has been tested for genealogical purposes. It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Joel or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree: It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Joel:

Joel, Looks like Borders-427 is all cleaned up. I removed the unsourced category and deleted duplicate lines/sources. If you want more help, just privately message me. Thanks for doing the merge!

Joel - You left a message on my page about a merge. But it doesn't reference any profile, so I'm sorry to say I can't answer. Not enough information!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Joel, thanks for the message. I do a combinations of small uploads and add my own profiles manually. Depending on what software you use ( if any ) , some are very easy to splice up or reduce to exports >> then import into WikiTree .

Our member , Paul, did a tutorial on how to split using Brother's Keeper and there is a popular one for Family Tree Maker. I did one for PAF . Let me know if you need help finding a program to split your gedcom.
