Mary "Polly" Moberly was the daughter of Edward Moberly and his wife Susannah.[1] She was born about 1734,[2] most likely in Prince George's County, Maryland, where her parents were living at the time.


"Polly" married Thomas Halsell (Halsey)[1][2] Thomas was in Lunenburg County, Virginia in 1752 and in what is now Fairfield County, South Carolina in 1786, but was not lister there in the 1790 Census.[1]


"Polly" died sometime between April 1792 and 1794. in South Carolina.[2]
