The local history for Romedal[1] provides the following data on page 53 (in translation):
Johan Buchardsen (Borchersen) Madfelt. Priest in Romedal 1665-1674. Birthplace and year is unknown. He was married to Mette Nielsdatter Hofer (see 15-4 above for more about her). Four children were named in (legal) documents in 1701:
1. Niels, ensign (the lowest officer rank in the naval squadron)
2. Anne, married to Cavalry Captain Trübler (see Granberg farm number 11)
3. Ingeborg, married to Ibe Rafnsberg
4. Marthe, married to Captain Anders Nielssen Wiborg.
