Shannon,

You are shown as a manager of Gudylouch-6. By showing that Adam was the brother of Sarah, that would mean that he married his niece.

Adam did marry Hannah Stockton, but without any evidence she is also being shown as his niece.

That file shows his sister was the wife of Davis Stockton and the mother of Hannah Stockton.

That is, and was, considered an uncle-niece incestuous relationship. Would you please either show some evidence that he was her uncle or change this file. To accuse a man of incest without any evidence is wrong.

You are the manager of that file, will you please do something.

Thank you,

Jerry J. Stockton

Shannon, is there any way we can protect Sarah?

Shannon,

How can Hannah (nee Sellers) Torbet who was born about 1774, be the mother of Prudence (nee unknown) Stockton who was born about 1730?

Shannon,

There is absolutely NO evidence whatsoever that Davis Stockton was married to Sarah Gudylouch or that Sarah Gudylouch ever existed.

Hi Shannon,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one or more which best fit your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Welcome Shannon

I am pleased to confirm you as a full member, and welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.

I would suggest starting with the https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:New_Member_How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.

I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site, and find many cousins you never knew existed.

Happy tree climbing
