Monroe M. Mohler, 92, died Thursday in Sarasota, FIa.,where he was vacationing. A native of Stevens, he leaves 101 survivors. Mohler, who lived at White Hall Farms, Bellville, Mifflin County, died in a Sarasota Hospital following a brief illness. He was married to Kate Zook Mohler. His, first wife was the late Emma Kurtz Mohler. He was a retired farmer and he spent 27. winters at his home in Sarasota, Fla. Mohler was a member of the Allenville Mennonite Church in Mifflin County. Born in Stevens, he was a son of the late Monroe and Susanna Martin Mohler. In addition to his widow, at home, he is survived by a daughter: Mrs. Janie Immel, Sarasota, and eight sons: Clarepce, Phoenix, Ariz.; Ralph, Akron; Galen, Kirkwood; Martin and William, both of Stevens; Harold, Brickerville; Jacob,Downingtown, and George,Bell-. 35 grandchilden; 54 great grandchildren; a brother, Martin Mohler, New Holland, and a sister, Mrs. Emmaa Rohrer, Neffsville Brethren Home.
