I have been unable to find Mary and the girls in the 1850 or 1860 census records. She is not listed with John and Elizabeth Cain(her Mother). Mary died in 1865 and had not remarried. She is buried beside Daniel.

Perry County, Ohio Vol T, p. 678 & 679 Be it known that I Mary Kishler in consideration of four hundred dollars to her paid by James Cain do hereby? and sell and convey to the said James Cain his heirs and assigns forever the following real estate viz. one fourth of twenty five acres of land willed by Lodwick Brandt to Elizabeth Cain, I being one of the heirs of said Elizabeth, said land being in the North West quarter of Section fourteen in Township Sixteen of Range Sixteen Chillicothe Land District and in Perry County Ohio and described as follows beginning forty rods East of the South West corner of said quarter in the South line, thence North forty rods, thence East one hundred rods thence South forty rods to South line and thence West one hundred rods to the place of beginning. Together with all the privileges and appertenances to the same belonging. To have and to hold the same to the said James Cain his heirs and assigns forever hereby covenanting that they own the property so conveyed in fee simple and without incumbrance and that she will warrant and defend the same against all claims whatsoever in testimony whereof the said Mary Kishler who hereby releases all claim hereunto set her hand and seal this eighteenth day of January 1850. Land Deed: Perry County, Ohio, Book T; Page 697- January 18 1850 Know all men by these presents that James Cain of the County of Perry and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of four hundred to him paid by Mary Kishler do hereby bargain sell and convey to the said Mary Kishler her heirs or assigns forever the following real estate viz, one half of the undivided part of twenty five acres of land being of the land willed by Ludwick Brandt to Elizabeth Cain the half being my share and the share I purchased from Mary Kishler, said being in the North west quarter of Section fourteen in Township Sixteen of Range sixteen, Chillicothe Land District, Perry County Ohio. Land described as follows. Beginning forty rods east of the south west corner of said quarter on the south line, thence north forty rods, thence east one hundred rods, thence south forty rods to south line and thence west one hundred rods to the place of beginning. To have and to hold said land with the appertenences to the same belonging to the said Mary Kishler her heirs and assigns forever hereby ?? that I own the property so conveyed in fee simple and without incumbrance and that I will warrant and defend the same against all claims whatsoever. The conditions of this deed is such that whereas the said James Cain executed and delivered to the said Mary Kishler one note for four hundred dollars to be paid in two years dated this eighteenth day of January 1850. Now if the said James Cain his heirs assigns executors or administrators shall will and truly pay the aforesaid note according to the term thereof to the said Mary Kishler her heirs or assigns then the above obligation deed shall be void otherwise to remain in full force in law and virtue. In witness whereof I James Cain have hereunto set my hand and seal the eighteenth day of January in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty. The state of Ohio, Perry County, JP-- (the following was written in the left margin and side of the page, apparently at the same time the deed was written.) For value received I hereby release so much of the within land as has been sold by James Cain and Mary his wife to Mary Scallon described as follows. Situate in Perry County Ohio and in Section 14, Township (16) Range (16) and described as follows beginning at the south west corner of what is know as the Cain tract of land thence running north four (4) chains and 80 links to the center of the road, thence 24 1/2 ? 5 chains and 14 links. Thence west 2 chains to the place of beginning containing 48/100 of an acre.{ Mary Kishler, her mark ---Attest J. Costigan. For value receive I hereby release five acres of the land in this mortgage on the west line of this tract being in N.W. qr Sect 14, R 16, T16 adjoining the land of Mary Scallon. Beginning at the northwest corner thence east 22 rods thence south 40 rods thence west 20 rods to Scallon Lands thence with Scallon lands on same line to the place of beginning. Given under my hand officially this eighteenth day of January, AD 1850. John Lidey, JP Received April 15, 1850 , 11AM Recorded April 26, 1850, 2PM Attest Jacob Costigan, Recorder Be it known that James Cain and Mary Cain his wife in consideration of fourteen dollars to them paid by Mary Scallon do hereby bargain, sell and convey to the said Mary Scallon her heirs and assigns forever the following real estate viz. situated in the county of Perry, Ohio and in Section 14, Township 16, Range 16 and described as follows.
