Bruce was born in 1902 in Natal, South Africa. He was the son of surgeon John Drew Moir and Sarah Jane Constance P Allaway.
Bruce was baptised on 8 September 1902 in Pinetown, Natal, South Africa.[1]
In the 1911 census, Bruce (age 8) was the son of John Drew Moir in Plymouth, Devon, England.[2]
In the 1921 census, Bruce and his family were living in Kensington, Middlesex (London).[3]
Bruce's marriage to Cecily Charlotte Mazur was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1933 in the Paddington district.[4] They had a daughter, Rosalind, a visual artist who married Scottish actor Michael Sheard.
Bruce's death (age 56) was registered in 1958 in Middlesex, England.[5] His widow passed away in 1990.
