Biography
Marianne was born on 19 Jun 1861 and Baptized on 21 Jun 1861 in Belle River, Essex, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Isidore Moison and Mathilde Knappe.[1] She married Joseph Labute, son of Alexandre Labute and Sophie Perrault, in Belle River on 25 Jan 1881.[2][3] Marie was only 35 years old when she died on 14 Dec 1896 in Tecumseh.[4]
In 1871, when Marianne was ten years old, the family was living in Rochester, Ontario. The household consisted of Isidore Moison, his wife Maltilde and five children, Frederic, Marianne, Isidore, Agnes, and Therese. Delima Vermette also resided with the family.[5]
After her marriage to Joseph in January 1881, the young couple was residing in Tecumseh, Essex.[6]
They started their family the following year and had five sons and two daughters during their sixteen years of marriage.

In 1891 the family was still living in Tecumseh and consisted of Marianne, her husband Joseph, who was a Baker in his own shop, and four children: Frederic, Aggie, Aimee and Isidore. [15]
Marianne passed away 14 Dec 1896 in Tecumseh and was buried on 15 Dec 1896 in Sainte Anne Cemetery, Tecumseh.[4][16][17]

Baptism records show name as Marianne Moison but marriage, death and burial records show Marie Anne Moison.
The 1891 Canada Census lists a son Frederic, age 8, but no other documentation has been found for him.
