Ellen Mary was born on the 24th November 1872^[1][2] in Charlton^[3] in Dover, Kent, England^[4] and baptised on the 26th December 1872 at St. Peter & St. Paul, Charlton in Dover, Kent, England, the daughter of William Molloy (shoemaker) and Susannah Molloy of Charlton^[5].

On the 31st December 1905, Ellen Mary Molloy married Joseph Oxbrough at Ss. Peter & Paul, Charlton by Dover, Kent, England. Joseph Oxbrough, 31, bachelor, Gunner R(oyal) A(rtillery), of 14 Peter Street, son of Joseph Oxbrough [sic] (collier); and Ellen Mary Molloy, spinster of 14 Peter Street, daughter of William Strand Molloy (bootmaker, deceased). Witnessed by Frank Thomas Molloy and Emily Potts^[6]
