Sir More Molyneux was born William Molyneux, son of Thomas Molyneux of Westhoughton, Lancashire and Margaret More. After his mother inherited Loseley Park, he took the name More Molyneux. He d. 1760, succeeded by his son James.
When Sir William More Molyneux was born in 1690 in Guildford, Surrey, England, his father, Thomas, was 28 and his mother, Margaret, was 30. He married Cassandra Cornwallis on March 1, 1722. They had 11 children in 14 years. He died on February 19, 1760, in England at the age of 70. [1]
