Obituary Transcript: WARWICK - Florian E. Monday, 67, of 16 Blanchard St., a retired teacher, died yesterday [24 December 1979] in Cranston General Hospital. Born in Montreal, Canada, he was a son of the late Arthur and Florida (Tellier) Monday. A teacher in the Woonsocket school system, he was on the junior high school faculty for 30 years and retired in 1971. He was a graduate of Assumption College, Worcester, Mass., and did graduate work at Providence College. He was a former West Warwick resident. Mr. Monday leaves two sons, Florian M. Monday of Framingham, Mass., John A. Munday of Boston and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday [27 December 1979] at 8 a.m. from the Raoul G. Henault & Son Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John's Church, Arctic, at 9. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Arctic.[1]
