Hi, believe you have recorded a fair amount of info about him on Ancestry as part of your family tree? This should be added to this page, if possible.

I believe the Moneys were originally from Europe (probably French Hugenots) who would have escaped persecution there. There are many Moneys in the United Kingdom. One branch was associated with High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire where they were involved in furniture making, blacksmiths and publicans, to name just a few of their occupations.
