Biography

When Mahlon Monk was born in 1800 in Bulloch, Georgia, his father, William, was 37 and his mother, Jerushia, was 27. He had seven children with Elizabeth Goff. Mahlon died on September 13, 1877, in Worth, Georgia, having lived a long life of 78 years, and was buried in Sylvester, Georgia in the Land-Tyson Cemetery.
