Reverend John Monro, born about 1662, was the son of Reverend John Monroe of Pomunkie.[1]
He was the rector at St. John's Parish, King William County, Virginia[1]

Wife Christian _____ is buried in the Bruton Parish Episcopal Church Cemetery. Her Epitaph reads:
Here Lies Deposited The Remains of Mrs. CHRISTIAN MUNRO Relict of the Revd JOHN MUNRO Late Minister of St. JOHNS Parish in the County of King William. She Departed this Life the 23d of September 1725 in the 60th year of her Age.[1]
On the same stone are the epitaphs of two grandchildren the children of John & Mary Blair:
Here Also Rests The Body of MARY BLAIR GrandDaughter of ye Said JOHN & CHRISTIAN MUNRO, by their only Surviving Child, MARY ye Wife of JOHN BLAIR Esqr. She Departed ye 1st of April 1730 in the Second year of her Age.[1]
Also SARAH Another Daughter of the Said JOHN & MARY BLAIR, who Died Febr the 19th 1735 Aged 3 months & 12 Days[1].
He passed away in 1724.
