birth & death info. He married his cousin Hannah in Plymouth, NY, with their uncle, John Welch, justice of peace, officiating. About 1798 he settled in Chenango Co., NY. He moved to Warren Co., PA about 1823. He served as a sergeant major in the 27th Regiment of the NY Militia in the War of 1812, from 12 Sept until 19 Nov 1814, when he was honorable discharged.
