Biography

Samuel Montague was born on 30 June 1720 in Sunderland, Franklin, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of Samuel Montague (1695–1789) and Elizabeth White (~1695–1753).[1]

Samuel married Elizabeth Montague (born on 13 November 1720 in Hadley, Hampshire, Massachusetts; daughter of Peter Montague and Mary (Hubbard) Montague). Their children were:

Samuel died on 17 January 1777 in Bennington, Bennington, Republic of New Connecticut, aged 56. He was buried in Old Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, Bennington County, Vermont.[1]
