Robert Montgomery was enumerated as servant of the head of household in Militia District 849, Calhoun (west & north part) Calhoun town, Gordon County, Georgia for the June 13, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born January 1870 in Georgia and single. He was black and a servant (waiter). Also included in the household are head William D Richards, wife Saman Richards, daughter Minerva Richards, son Lutha Richards, daughter Ethel Richards, son Roy Richards, son Harry Richards, daughter Katie Richards, daughter Annie B Boaz, son-in-law Thomas M Boaz, boarder Lonis Or Louis Fink, boarder James C Beny and boarder Frank L Malone as seen in an image of the original census.^[1]
