The source for this profile, the Find A Grave database, says Jane's name might be Montgomery but that no actual sources for the name have been found.

Recently I studied more detailed data in Chester Co., PA. Many people give Robert M. Frier Jr's name as Robert Montgomery Frier, which may be where the speculation about Jane Frier's name came from.

Please not add any names on the children list to any profile. They will be added in the final Robert Frier/Jane Kennedy profile. I discovered that the will of David Kennedy of Chester Co., PA names a daughter Jane Frier. Kennedy was born in 1698 and had a daughter Jane born about 1724 or so. The dates appear uncertain. The birth date given for Jane (Montgomery) Frier cannot be correct since it is seven years prior to her first son's birth. A further interesting fact is that David Kennedy's wife was name Annabella Montgomery, which is where the Montgomery in Robert Jr's name came from.
