Biography

Bessie Christeen Montgomery was born December 23, 1908 in Pansey (Now Barry), Navarro County, Texas, to father C C Montgomery and mother Lena Woodard.[1]

Bessie Montgomery was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Mulga Loop Road (paved), Precinct 57, Jefferson County, Alabama for the April 8, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1909 in Texas and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Cecil C Montgomery, wife Lena Montgomery and daughter Elizabeth Montgomery.[2]
