Biography

Martha "Patsy" Montgomery was born 22 Apr 1803 in Gibson County, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph Montgomery and Nancy Davis. On 14 Dec 1819, at age 16, she married Garrard Mounts, and together they had twelve children, all born in Gibson County.

Patsy was known as "a remarkably shrewd woman".[1] She died17 Jul 1892, and is buried with her husband in Mt Moriah Cemetery, Union Township, Gibson County, Indiana.
