Mary Montgomery was born 25 Jan 1802[1] in Fayette County, Kentucky, the oldest child of Judge Thomas Montgomery and Betsy Warrick. She grew up in Gibson County, Indiana, and on 4 Nov 1822 married James Skelton. Together, they had ten children.[2]
