Biography
Robert was born in 1738. He is the son of John Montgomery and Martha Finley. [1]
Robert Montgomery married Agnes Nancy Montgomery, daughter of John Montgomery 1711-1778 and Martha Montgomery 1715-1799. He served in the Revolutionary war. Robert was also fairly active in community activities around Harrisburg, PA, i.e. church records, jury duty, and serving as an area tax collector. Their children intermarried with a number of well-established Dauphin County, PA area families.
