Biography

Sibyl Montgomery was born on 28 May 1845, the daughter of Alfred Montgomery and his wife, Fanny Wyndham. ^[1][2]

Sibyl married John Sholto Douglas, son of Archibald Douglas and his wife, Caroline Clayton, on 26 February 1866.^[3] She and John Sholto Douglas, 9th Marquess of Queensberry were divorced in 1887.^[4]

She died on 31 October 1935 aged 90. ^{[5] [6] [7]}
