Biography

Bo Gabriel Montgomery is the father of Sven Jacob, and the author of the book “Origins and History of the Montgomerys Comtes de Montgomery, Ponthiey, Alencon and La Marcheeden” that is cited as a source in this description. Bo Gabriel was a recognized authority on financial, political, and labor union issues in Great Britain, France, and the Scandinavian countries, and he published books and articles on the subjects. Bo Gabriel was born 21 April 1894 in Stockholm, he held undergraduate and advanced degrees, the highest being a Doctorate of Philosophy that he was awarded in 1922, and he died 16 October 1969. Bo Gabriel married Brita Martha Alida Dahl in 1933. He and Brita had seven children, and they divorced 1957. The fifth of their children was Sven Jacob who was born in 1940.
