Sibyl Frances 'Queenie' Montgomery was born in 1882 in St Mark's Vicarage, Kennington, London, England, United Kingdom. She was the eldest child of Reverend (later Bishop) Henry Montgomery and Maud Farrar. [1]
After making the long voyage with her parents, sister, and three brothers to the Colony of Tasmania (Australia), where her father had been appointed Bishop of Tasmania, and aged just seven years, Sibyl passed away on 18th November 1889 in Hobart, Tasmania. [2]
