Hi Richard!

How is it going so far? Was the first page of the How-Tos helpful or did it leave you with questions?

We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when you click the link, you can find a working version in the public comments on your profile.

Richard,

You should check out my ancestors. They began in Ireland, went to Virginia, then Kentucky, then Missouri, leaving a trail of cousins, brothers, sisters and offspring along the way. Start at Montgomery-5717 and work your way back in time.

Richard is kin to me through a common ancestor from the early 1700's, by the name of Alexander Montgomery (1705-68) Though Richard has not found documentation that connects his earliest known ancestor,Joseph Montgomery (1830-1891), he shares most of my STR's with FTDNA. He is also a member of the same I-M253 Montgomery DNA Project, with 16 other members. All sharing pretty much most of the same STR's. His present terminal, I-A1524, was my last terminal with FTDNA, before testing Big-Y. My terminal is now I-A14271 found after testing Big-Y.
