    Inventory of the movable property and immovable effects of the late Brigite MONTZ, wife of Michelle JACOB [s/ Jans Michel JACOB], made by George Delonde [s/ Deslonde] and Jean Louis Picou, appraisers appointed by Maurice O'Conor. Monts died 31 March 1782 leaving minor children. Slaves listed are Christophe, around 40, Chamba nation; Joseph, around 45, Congo nation; Jacob, around 40, Enarre nation; Teodore, around 45, Congo nation; Christophe, around 15, creole; Threse,[sic] around 20, Congo nation; Marie Threse[sic], around 6, creole; Zaire Adelaide, around 45, with her child, Rosalie, around 6, creole; Eve, around 12, creole; and Marguerite, around 10, creole. A debt is owed to the community by Andres Trish. Debts are owed to Henry Kenzy, Antoine Baudouin, Bouguignon, Christian Jacob, and to his son-in-law, Henry Ris. Inventory of livestock is made 27 May 1786 by George Delande and Mathias Camber. Notation by O'Conor that a copy was given to Jacob 12 December 1786. Act of tutorship dated 20 September 1786 of the minor children held in presence of Michele JACOB; Christian JACOB, his brother; Michel CAMBER and George KERNER, his brothers-in-law; and Antoine MONTS and Christophe ARTZIGER, maternal uncles of the minors. The elect Jacob as tutor and Antoine Montz as subrogate tutor. [Note: Filmed by GSU with documents for 1789 and omitted by Conrad]
