Biography

Abigail Moody, daughter of Clement Moody of Manchester, married David Bean, Jr. son of David Bean, Sr. and Mary "Molly" (Judkins) Bean. Three of their sons married sisters from the Quimby family.

To this marriage were born the following children:

• Hugh Bean, born December 30, 1764, married Sarah Quimby;

• Phillip Bean, born 1766 married Betsey Moulton;

• Rebecca Bean, born 1768;

• Clement Bean, born 1770 married Abigail Glines;

• Nicholas Bean, born 1773 married Lydia Brown;

• David Bean III, born 1773 married Hannah Fogg;

• Mary Bean, born 1774 married John Fuller;

• Samuel Bean, born 1776 married Ruth Emery;

• Jonathan Bean, born May 29, 1779, married Mary Quimby;

• John Bean, born 1781, married Anna Quimby
