Richard was born in 1814. He was the son of William Clacey or Moody and Martha Sparey.
In 1818 William Moody was the subject of a removal order under the Poor Law from Corsley to Warminster along with his wife Martha and children Elizabeth (7), William (6), Richard (4) and Adam (1) [1].
He passed away in 1896.
