Amos was born in 1862 in Izard County, Arkansas. He was the son of Amos Moody and Mary Arnold.[1]
He married Tibitha Foster. Their children are Sarah, Angie, Ettie, Sanford, Joseph, Arlisse,[2] Pearl, Bertha, Elbert, Samuel, Adolphus[3] and Goldie Moody.[4][5]
He passed away in 1949. He is buried at Staggs Cemetery in Izard County, Arkansas.[6]
