Biography

Marion Gaddys Moon was born on 15 Nov 1903 in Illinois, USA.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]

Marion lived with her family in Milton, DuPage, Illinois, USA in 1910.[1] In 1920, the family lived in Marengo, McHenry, Illinois, USA.[2]

Marion Gaddys Moon married Edwin Eugene Aldrin on 22 Mar 1924 in Manilla, Philippines.[3][6][7]

Marion left Bremen, Germany on 29 Jun 1924 aboard the ship Paris and arrived in New York City on 9 Jul 1924.[7]

Marion left Le Havre, France on 29 May 1929 aboard the ship America and arrived in New York City on 4 Jun 1929.[8]

From 1930 to 1955, the Aldrins lived in Montclair, Essex, New Jersey, USA.[3][4][11][12][13] In 1933, they lived in Miami, Dade, Florida, USA.[10]

Edwin and Marion had three children, Madeline Ross, Faye Ann, and Edwin Eugene Jr., better known as Buzz Aldrin.[14][15][16][17][18][19]

Marion suffered from depression and eventually committed suicide on 24 May 1968.[5][9][17] She was buried in Arlington National Cemetery (Plot: Sec: 2, Site: E-156) in Arlington, Virginia, USA, alongside her husband.[5][9]
