Email states Nicholas' brothers were William and James. They are from Botetourt County, VA. William married Elizabeth Patterson, a daughter of William Patterson (RW vet buried at Downing). William died in 1804 leaving two children: Moses, b. abt 1795 and Stephen, b. 1801. The widow Elizabeth then married a brother her deceased husband, James, abt. 1805. James apparently died and Elizabeth then married a John Persinger 27 Aug 1806 in Botetourt County. This Elizabeth did go up to Madison County, Ohio, with her children, following her brothers, their families and her father.
