William Sterling Moore was born on May 4, 1844 in Wilkes County, North Carolina. He first married Nancy Pardie Bata (1846-1872) on Nov 23, 1865 in Yell County, Arkansas. He next married Agness Jane Tyler (1846-1899) on Nov 16, 1873 in Searcy County, Arkansas. He died on Apr 4, 1892 in Polk County, Missouri.
